Letter to mother and brother, 1861 December 6.

Frisbie briefly notes picket and guard duty, Thanksgiving dinner, illness and death in the regiment, and cost of food, boots and gloves, and requests for cheese, butter and sugar. He comments on the "darkies" in camp, noting "Got one to work a cooking that ran away from his master in mariland & i ges they are used prety bad for I have seen the scars & ridges on his back where he had beed whipted & his legs are very crooked by pooting to much load on his back when he was young."
